Teach The Next Generations<\/h2>\n<p>Ephesians 6:4 And you, <strong>fathers<\/strong>, do not provoke your children to wrath, but <strong>bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Joel 1:3 <strong>Tell your children about it, Let your children tell their children, And their children another generation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Acts 20:32 &#8220;So now, brethren, I commend you to God and <strong>to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up<\/strong> and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.<\/p>\n<p>II Timothy 2:2 And <strong>the things that you have heard from me<\/strong> among many witnesses, <strong>commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>II. Strengthen The Christians That Are Here Now<\/h2>\n<p>Revelation 3:2 Be watchful, and <strong>strengthen the things which remain<\/strong>, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to <strong>the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>II Timothy 3:16-17 <strong>All Scripture is given by inspiration of God<\/strong>, <strong>and is profitable<\/strong> for doctrine, <strong>for reproof, for correction<\/strong>, for instruction in righteousness, 17 <strong>that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I Corinthians 3:5-6 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed; as the Lord gave to each one? 6 <strong>I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Luke 10:2 Then He said to them, &#8220;<strong>The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ecclesiastes 4:9 <strong>two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>II Timothy 4:2 <strong>Preach the word!<\/strong> Be ready in season and out of season. <strong>Convince, rebuke, exhort<\/strong>, with all longsuffering and teaching.<\/p>\n<p>Titus 1:13 This testimony is true. <strong>Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>I Peter 5:2 <strong>Feed the flock of God which is among you<\/strong>, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;<\/p>\n<p>I Thessalonians 5:12-14 Therefore comfort each other and <strong>edify one another<\/strong>, just as you also are doing. And we urge you, brethren, <strong>to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you<\/strong>, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work&#8217;s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 Now we exhort you, <strong>brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 3:13 <strong>but exhort one another daily, while it is called &#8220;Today,&#8221;<\/strong> lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.<\/p>\n<h2>III. Grow In Our Love For Each Other<\/h2>\n<p>John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, <strong>that you also love one another.<\/strong> 35 <strong>By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I Thessalonians 3:12 And may the Lord make you<strong> increase and abound in love to one another and to all<\/strong>, just as we do to you,<\/p>\n<p>I John 3:17-18 But whoever has this world&#8217;s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, <strong>let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I Corinthians 12:26 <strong>And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it;<\/strong> or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.<\/p>\n<p>Romans 14:19 <strong>Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>IV. Keep Our Eyes Open Looking for Open Doors<\/h2>\n<p>I Corinthians 16:8 But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. 9 <strong>For a great and effective door has opened to me<\/strong>, and there are many adversaries.<\/p>\n<p>II Corinthians 2:12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ&#8217;s gospel, and <strong>a door was opened to me by the Lord<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>Colossians 4:3 meanwhile praying also for us, <strong>that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Revelation 3:8 &#8220;I know your works. See, <strong>I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it<\/strong>; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.<\/p>\n<h2>V. Let the Word of God Sound Forth from Us<\/h2>\n<p>I Thessalonians 1:8 For <strong>from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth<\/strong>, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place.<\/p>\n<p>Acts 8:4 <strong>Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>II Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: <strong>He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, <strong>always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/survival\/\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSurvival\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Wayne Fancher I.
