Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? \u2014 unless indeed you are disqualified.<\/p>\n<p>I Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.<\/p>\n<h2>Know Your Enemy<\/h2>\n<p>II Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.<\/p>\n<p>I John 2:16 For all that is in the world \u2014 the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life \u2014 is not of the Father but is of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 4:26-27 &#8220;Be angry, and do not sin&#8221;: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew 4:2-3 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, &#8220;If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Know Your Allies<\/h2>\n<p>Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.<\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called &#8220;Today,&#8221; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.<\/p>\n<p>James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.<\/p>\n<h2>Know Your Weapons<\/h2>\n<p>II Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;<\/p>\n<p>Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, &#8220;It is written, &#8216;Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I John 2:14 I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.<\/p>\n<p>I John 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world \u2014 our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?<\/p>\n<p>I Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>I Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.
