I\u2019m very upset for obvious reasons and there\u2019s a part of me that finds it very offensive. I\u2019m trying to keep my \u201cjudging\u201d in check especially with all the goofy eating rules, but I\u2019m not sure I even want to anymore.<\/p>\n<p>My question is <strong>help<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m just not sure if these two religions have anything in common and I feel like if we remain friends, I am supporting the very people who killed our Lord and Savior, or am I being too extreme?<\/p>\n<p>Always appreciate your help in spiritual matters.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p>Judaism, like Catholicism, has its roots in the truth but has branched so much it is no longer recognizable. Traditions overwhelm the commandments of God.<\/p>\n<p>As Paul told Timothy, &#8220;<em>I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, <strong>with great patience<\/strong> and instruction<\/em>&#8221; (II Timothy 4:1-2). Some people take longer to convince of the truth than others.<\/p>\n<p>You can be friendly with people without indicating that you support the life they are living. Yes, the Jews have rejected Jesus, but so have Muslims, Hindus, and atheists.
