I was on your page and I have a question.<\/p>\n
I was baptized again 2.5 years ago because I was baptized for the wrong reasons the first time. ( pleasing others, etc). Before my second baptism, I didn’t repent of my sins. I remember thinking, well I’m going to continue in sin afterward, but I need to do this, so maybe God will accept this baptism. I gave the preacher my confession and was baptized. I slid right back into sin just a day or so after. (The same sins as before.)<\/p>\n
Does this mean that my baptism would be void in God’s eyes? My fear is that He wouldn’t accept it on the Day of Judgment? Or am I overthinking things? From your description, I would recommend getting baptized again, but this time, I want you to sit down with a preacher and study what being a Christian is all about and what baptism represents.
