Maybe you might have a picture of it? I am assuming that this name refers to the usage of the various tree parts. To be used as a broom. Do you know if this is true?<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/BroomTree-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>The broom tree is actually a large desert shrub in the juniper family. There is a good write-up on it at <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20080312203340\/http:\/\/www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org\/potd\/2008\/01\/retama_raetam.php\">Botany Photo of the Day<\/a>. Most of the time, it is a collection of green twigs, ideal for a desert environment, but during the wet season, it puts on small leaves and even flowers, as seen in the picture on the right.
