Currently, I am reading and trying to study the book of Isaiah.\u00a0 I am really having a hard time trying to understand it though.\u00a0 I looked on your web site to try to find a break down of it chapter by chapter like you did with the\u00a0Song of Solomon<\/a>. I read a chapter every day, but I am not understanding it all. \u00a0I would really appreciate your assistance.<\/p>\n\t That one is a tall order. I pulled out my notes from the last time I taught Isaiah (it was over 20 years ago!). They aren’t in good enough shape to put up. Almost all my notes come from classes or sermons I teach at the local congregation. I’ve just taken the time to post them as I develop them. Currently, we’re working through I and II Corinthians. So I’m going to recommend some commentaries to look at:<\/p>\n The first is from the Bible Study Textbook Series. Unfortunately, the books are large PDFs that have to be downloaded, but they have lots of good information. Isaiah is in three parts. See: College Press Free Resources Bookshelf<\/a>.<\/p>\n Another good resource is\u00a0Albert Barnes’ Notes on Isaiah<\/a>. Finally,\u00a0Matthew Henry’s Commentaries<\/a> are a bit harder to read but generally filled with good cross-references.
