Do I need to present fact articles regarding the Bible and God’s existence to my co-worker who doesn’t believe God, Satan, heaven, or hell? She only believes in science because she believes science has facts and evidence and it was evidently tested.<\/p>\n\t

Answer:<\/h2>\n

If a person refuses to believe the evidence that is before them, there isn’t much you can do. Even the Jews refused to believe that Jesus healed a blind man with the man right in front of them and his own parents testifying that he was born blind (John 9).<\/p>\n

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe<\/em>” (I Corinthians 1:18-21).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One avenue of approach is to point out the many small references to scientific facts mentioned in the Bible but which were contrary to known science at the time it was written. There is a very good book on this topic called,\u00a0“Has God Spoken?” by Arnold Schnabel<\/a>. The book came from Mr. Schnabel’s own discussions with his engineering friends about science and the Bible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
