I am a former Christian who converted to Islam after reading the Qur’an with an open mind. I am now a devout Muslim. I write this letter to you so that you might consider converting to Islam and becoming a Muslim. Peace be upon he who follows the right path, to those obedient to Allah (God) and His Prophet, to those who believe in Allah’s Oneness and to those who worship Allah.<\/p>\n
Truly I call upon you to obey Allah’s command and convert to Islam. Muhammad was sent as Allah’s Messenger to the entire world so that sleeping hearts will be awakened and dark hearts illuminated and so that non-Muslims will have no excuses. Submit to Islam so that you will be safe and immune from His punishment and His wrath. If you disobey Allah and reject His Religion, you will be responsible for your own sins.<\/p>\n\t
If I or anyone else followed after Islam, then we would be facing God’s wrath. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed<\/em>” (Galatians 1:8-9). The teachings of Islam are very different from those of Jesus and the apostles.<\/p>\n The apostles’ teachings have been proven to be from God. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?<\/em>” (Hebrews 2:3-4). No such support from God is found for Muhammad’s teachings.<\/p>\n Jesus and the apostles’ teachings match the teachings and prophecies of the Old Testament. “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’ – when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him<\/em>” (Deuteronomy 18:21-22). Muhammad’s teachings contradict the teachings of the Old and New Testament in many places.<\/p>\n Therefore, by God’s accepted Word, Muhammad fails the test of a prophet.<\/p>\n “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
