I would like to ask, do you think God will still love me and forgive me though we committed fornication five times? Yesterday I cried a lot because I know that I’m so unworthy to the Lord. We decided to talk about it and talk about what is the best way we can stop that sin and continue to walk and come to the Lord. I thank God because my fiance finally understands about being a Christian and being godly. But until now I cannot forgive myself for what I have done. I feel that I am a sinner not worth it anymore to the Lord. I feel that I am not worth God’s forgiveness. Please tell me what can we do and how can we accept again God’s forgiveness. Though we are willing to be changed and start again, I really don’t know what to do because I sinned against the Lord and a serious sin at that. Do you think God will still forgive us?<\/p>\n\t

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who fear Him.<\/em><\/p>\n
“For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them<\/em>” (Psalm 103:8-18).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It appears that you are approaching the problem of sin completely backward. Sin is wrong. God doesn’t want us to sin. Yet, you appear to think that you must earn God’s love by never sinning. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God<\/em>” (Romans 3:23). The number of times you fell or how you fell does not matter to God. What matters is that you change your ways. “‘But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?’ says the Lord GOD, ‘and not that he should turn from his ways and live?’<\/em>” (Ezekiel 18:21-23).<\/p>\n
Never think to take advantage of God’s kindness toward us. Do not think that you can sin as you please and repent of it later because God will always forgive me. When we face God in Judgment He will examine our actions, our thoughts, and our motives. “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God<\/em>” (I Corinthians 4:5). If you and your boyfriend sincerely change and strive to follow God’s way, then it doesn’t matter that you slipped up in the past. What matters is that you are striving to live right today.<\/p>\n
Your claim that you can’t forgive yourself shows your lack of faith in God. It is God who says He will forgive the sinner of his sins. Are you saying that God won’t keep His word? Are you saying that God cannot save you? “Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver?<\/em>” (Isaiah 50:2). God won’t save you if you remain in your sins, but if you change and put yourself in the hands of God, there is nothing that He cannot do.<\/p>\n
