His sacrifice does not have to be offered repeatedly. Also, under the Old Law, the High Priest could only enter the holy of holies in the tabernacle or the temple after making two offerings. &#8220;<em>Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship, but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance<\/em>&#8221; (Hebrews 9:6-7). The first offering was for the sins the High Priest committed that year and the second was offered for the sins of the people.
