May I correspond with you about parenting issues?

Question:

Greetings,

I recently came across your church's website and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I am the father of two teenage boys, 13 and 15. I came to Christianity late in life, so it has only been in the last few years that I have begun raising my sons in the proper Christian way. In particular, I enjoyed the Answer section of your website. I wanted to say thank you for your wonderful words on how to raise and discipline children. It has been very helpful to me. It is a particular challenge to raise older boys, but I find that a firm hand can work wonders. I have a similar method as to what you described as I usually give them a choice of punishments, such as grounding, spanking, etc. I don't have a lot of other Christian fathers to talk to about this very important subject. In particular, I am always looking to trade advice about the proper use of discipline and the application of rules. I do so admire your attitude that it's acceptable to spank an older boy. I totally agree. If you would be interested in corresponding via email or chatting I would be honored. We can all use the suppport of other men and fathers.

Answer:

I very much appreciate the kind words, especially since most of my correspondence deals with rebuttals. I would very much enjoy corresponding on parenting issues.
